Venice Day Trip from Verona
Description
Upon arrival, your expert local guide will greet you just outside the Venice train station and lead you on an extraordinary journey off the beaten path. Begin with an intimate walking tour that steers clear of crowded thoroughfares, guiding you instead through tranquil neighborhoods. Meander along tucked-away canals, wander down charming side streets, and stumble upon picturesque corners as your guide shares captivating tales and insider secrets.
Following a short break, continue your adventure with a guided exploration of the awe-inspiring St. Mark’s Basilica. Enjoy privileged access as you admire the Basilica’s stunning mosaics and architectural marvels, then ascend to its terrace for breathtaking vistas across St. Mark’s Square and the surrounding lagoon.
You can spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Venice at your own pace: lose yourself in Venice’s lively streets, pause to watch gondolas drift by, or simply relax beside a canal before boarding the train back to Verona.
